I mean I can think of some single-player only games that have been popular (although the only strategy game that comes to mind off the top of my head is Distant Worlds Universe, which would be difficult to make work in multiplayer), but otherwise, I agree 100%. Are ANY of them single player only? Wish you guys luck but I hope you realize that a remake without multiplayer will totally miss the mark for many people. Look at all the biggest games in the past several years. It's 2021, people want to play games together.
I can buy and play the old Master of Magic for 5 bucks right here on steam if I just want to play single player.
